Information you provide
When you request a design, place an order, contact MCM Engraving or submit a Memory Garden story, we may receive information such as your name, email address, telephone number, order details, message, photographs and memorial wording.
How information is used
We use submitted information to respond to inquiries, prepare design proofs, produce and deliver orders, provide customer service, prevent spam and maintain approved Memory Garden content.
Photographs
Uploaded photographs are used to evaluate and create the requested work. A photograph or story is not displayed publicly unless the submitter separately gives permission for public display, such as through the Memory Garden submission form.
Smith referral memorial requests and optional accounts
The Smith referral form also collects your delivery address, the referring practice, ranked photographs, and your choices about a free Memory Garden listing and account setup. Original request photos and contact details are kept in administrator-only request records; they are not published in the Garden. Website hosting, email services and backups may hold these records as needed to provide the service.
A Memory Garden listing is optional and reviewed before publication. With your separate permission, the listing can display your pet's name, Photo 1 and remembrance text. We do not display your delivery address, phone number or email in the listing. Please do not include private contact details in a story you intend to publish. Contact us to request a correction or removal.
Optional account setup uses your chosen username and email address. A secure email link lets you set your own password; do not put passwords into request messages. Account access does not mean the planned memorial forum is already available.
Orders and payments
Online orders may be processed through WooCommerce and an approved payment provider such as Stripe. MCM Engraving does not receive or store the complete payment-card number entered through the payment provider’s secure checkout.
Cookies and measurement
The website may use essential cookies for shopping, account and security functions. With the appropriate consent settings, it may also use analytics to understand which pages and marketing efforts help customers.
Sharing and retention
Information is shared only with service providers needed to operate the website, process payments, communicate, ship orders or comply with law. Records are retained only as reasonably needed for those purposes and normal business requirements.
