MCM Engraving creates made-to-order and personalized products. Because custom work is produced specifically for one customer, it cannot usually be resold. Please review the following terms before approving your design.
Cancellations
You may cancel for a full refund before design work begins. If design work has already started but you have not approved a proof, contact us as soon as possible. Refund eligibility will depend on the design work completed and any materials already purchased or prepared for your order.
Proof approval and personalized products
When a proof is provided, please carefully check names, spelling, dates, wording, layout, image selection, and other personalization details. Your approval authorizes MCM Engraving to begin production.
Personalized and custom-made products are final sale after proof approval or after production begins. We cannot accept returns or issue refunds for customer-approved spelling, wording, date, photo-selection, or layout choices.
If the finished product does not match the approved proof because of an error made by MCM Engraving, we will correct, remake, or replace it at no additional charge.
Damage during shipping
Please inspect your order when it arrives. Report shipping damage within seven calendar days of delivery. Include your order information and clear photographs of the product, packaging, and shipping label. Keep the item and all packaging until we confirm the next step.
For a verified shipping-damage claim, we will repair or replace the item at no additional charge. If repair or replacement is not reasonably possible, we will issue an appropriate refund.
Non-personalized products
An unused, non-personalized standard product may be eligible for return if you contact us within 14 calendar days of delivery. The product must be in its original condition and packaging. Please obtain return authorization before sending anything back.
Unless the return is caused by our error or verified shipping damage, the customer is responsible for return-shipping costs. Original shipping charges are not refundable.
Natural-material variations
Wood, slate, leather, and similar materials naturally vary in grain, color, texture, and marking. These normal variations are part of the character of the product and are not considered defects.
Refund processing
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Processing times depend on the bank or payment provider and may take several business days after we issue the refund.
